...and then I blinked...the seasons changed...
and it's October.
I didn't mean for such a long hiatus, dear blogosphere. That was the longest break I had taken in more than five years, and while it was much needed, I sorely missed this. You. This space.
My friends and I talk quite a bit about seasons. Seasons to pick up the oar and row, and seasons as the coxen. Some seasons the energy is boundless and inspiration is running amok because there's just too much to stuff in pockets. And then there are seasons to rest and harness energy, when it's truly just better to hold the cards until the next round.
This writer had to hold her cards for a bit. Recharge. Though I continued to write, I promise! In the last month, I finished a first draft of a new novel that is so close to my heart. Also, I have a new look to the blog (do you like?) and have a brand new writer website.
So, I kept busy. *winks*
There is more in the works, and this post is me dipping my toes into the blogging waters again. I've got to say, it's feeling mighty familiar and comfy
